Where to plan your after-garba party in Vadodara, Navratri 2026

Sharad Navratri 2026 runs from Sunday 11 October to Monday 19 October, with Dussehra on Tuesday 20 October. In Vadodara, garba nights are the main event, and by the time the music slows down the group chat asks the same question: where do we go next?
Plan the hangout before the garba
Garba nights are long and busy, so decide your meeting point early. A café close to the grounds and MS University area works well for a pre-garba catch-up, a mid-festival dinner or a relaxed stop on a non-garba evening. La Ville Cafe is on Abbas Tyabji Road in Fatehgunj, near Methodist Church.
What to order for a group
- Garlic cheese bread and pizza to share while everyone arrives
- Pasta, noodles and Mexican fries for filling, veg-friendly plates
- Cold coffee and shakes to cool down after dancing
Typical spend is roughly ₹200–400 per person, and portions are generous.
Wear the colour of the day
Navratri 2026 colour calendar: Day 1 (Sun 11 Oct) orange, Day 2 white, Day 3 red, Day 4 royal blue, Day 5 yellow, Day 6 green, Day 7 grey, Day 8 purple, Day 9 (Mon 19 Oct) peacock green. Matching outfits make great group photos against our brick wall and neon Good Vibes sign.
Festive windows

In past Navratri seasons we have dressed the window corners with colourful hangings and festive decor, which makes the café a favourite spot for festival photos. Follow @la_ville_cafe on Instagram to see what is new this season.
